Growth Lending strengthens northern presence with key appointment
Sean McCormick joins the firm’s regional hub in Manchester as Director of Debt Finance.
Growth Lending, a specialist provider of growth capital for innovative, fast-growing SMEs, has announced the appointment of Sean McCormick as Director of Debt Finance, based in the firm’s Manchester office. The hire reinforces the lender’s commitment to supporting businesses across the UK and strengthens its existing presence in the North of England. The news follows the announcement of a £1bn strategic partnership between Growth Lending and Aros Kapital.
Sean brings with him more than a decade of experience in supporting growing businesses within major financial institutions. His career to date includes roles at OakNorth Bank, Santander and Barclays, with a focus on client relationships and providing tailored debt finance solutions for SMEs.
Based in Growth Lending’s Manchester office, Sean will work alongside Associate Director Natalie Walker-Owen to bolster the company’s deal sourcing and execution capabilities in the North West and beyond. His immediate focus will be on leveraging his professional network to educate the market on Growth Lending’s proposition and collaborating with business leaders eager to accelerate their growth.
Sean’s expertise aligns with Growth Lending’s offer of tailored growth loans from £2m, with a particular focus on core sectors such as technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) and healthcare.
